Sony Studios Nickel Tour - Page 4 - Post-Pro, Writer/Producer Rooms
There were a number of studios like the ones pictured below. All with full-blown Pro-Tools systems. They're for post-production and are rented by writers and producers to do demos, etc.

for the blurry shot, the light was very low. They were using this room for
a photo shoot that day which is why you see the screen and umbrella. There
is a full-blown pro-tools system with console. A large screen plasma for
the display and those huge Augspurger Speakers.

Pro-Tools console/room. That's a Synclavier on the left. There's a rack
full of gear for that Synclavier in a adjacent closet. That's a vocal iso
booth window.
