Dolls, plush and figures

Elvis Plush.  Private brand fully licensed.  Instead of Elvis himself the hook here was it a plush animal.  Dog for "Hound Dog," bear for "Teddy Bear."  Six different styles with six different tunes.  We had a lot of fun with this one. Call of the Wild.  Realistic plush, actual animal sounds.
Need quacks, barks, etc. in your rubber stamp kit?  Binney & Smith did - so we made a chip for them.  He's really an activity toy, not a figure, but he's cute so I included him here. Bouncy Baby.  PDI's most successful product concept, over one million sold..  Bounce her on your knee and she sings a syllable of her song with each bounce.
This was an incredibly complicated product to produce.  Proprietary conductive ink printed mat.  Contacts and switches in the feet, wiring.  She played hopscotch and could tell if she "oops, step on a crack..." Woo-hoo! Hyaa!, Budda-bump, budda-bump.  She played horsey.  She had all the bells and whistles, but the little girls really loved that pink flocked cowboy hat and the blond pigtales.
Wisecracking in a Ross Perot-like drawl, "How do ya lak mah shades?"  The top product developer in the industry came to us to do their chip when it had to be right.  Yes he did say over 200 "things."  The flowchart was 20 pages long.  This product was incredibly successful and became a children's clothing line brand. Hoppity Bouncy.  Line extension to Bouncy Baby.  She rode on a pogo-ing electric bouncy ball, while laughing and carrying on.
Silly Sue.  Generic doll with teaching feature.  "Squeeze my hand"  "That's not my hand, that's my foot..."  Was also known generically as the "6 touch" doll. Tickle doll.  The harder you tickle her the harder she laughs.  Stop tickling and she calms down.
The box says it all.  Combined with soothing chimes, cute baby chuckles and a glowing head that slowly diminishes until it goes out.  A good night toy, I guess.

Happy Hugs with "Hug-o-Meter" measured how hard she was squeezed.  "Wow! That's a great big teddy bear hug!"

"I am Voicebot, I am Voicebot.  Ready for Command."  Voice activated with a large compliment of sound effects (laser pews, servo's), deep robotic voice, of course.  Our sound chip had to interface with the VR (voice recognition) chip. Guess what he says?  I've done every manner of Looney Toons characters in hard plastic (like this one) and plush as well.
The Yes Man.  "I'm sure whatever you're thinking is correct!"  "Gee, I wish I had thought of that!"  Just a few of the pithy sayings. "Spider sense going beserk!"  Yes, we did Spidy in all forms, large and small. As well as his Marvel cohorts, Venom, Wolverine, etc.
"Wah-hee-ho-ho-aaah-thubbbddtt!" "On the good ship Lollypop..."
